Dr. Andrew Szydlo

Dr. Szydlo teaches at Highgate School where he has been since teaching since 1975 Besides Chemistry he teaches car mechanics, runs an automobile society and holds photography lessons at the school..

He has a particular interest in alchemy in which he did his PhD thesis which was published as a book entitled "Water which does not wet hands" - the alchemy of Michael Sendivogius, Polish Academy of Sciences, in 1994.

His other interests include photography, music (violin, piano and accordion) and dancing.

He is also well renowned for his science/chemistry show called "As if by Magic..." which demonstrates in a spectacular display chemical reactions.
